Note: These numbers are the domestic Korean online registration route: 35 x 45 mm, JPG or JPEG, up to 200 KB, white background, taken within the last six months. Overseas test centres publish their own photo rules and they are not the same — the Hong Kong host, for example, asks for 3 x 4 cm at 354 x 472 pixels and a photo taken within three months. Its page does not say whether that comes from a central TOPIK rule, so do not assume it applies to any other centre: open the registration page of the centre you are applying to, and if it publishes a size, enter that size with the custom requirement tool. If you are sitting EPS-TOPIK for an employment permit rather than the academic TOPIK, that is a different exam with a different photo rule.
