Note: The visa notice itself only says "two 2-inch colour photos taken within the last 6 months, white background". The size and head-height figures here follow BOCA's own chip-passport photo standard (45 mm high × 35 mm wide, chin to crown 32–36 mm), which is what Taiwanese photo studios produce for a 2-inch photo. BOCA rejects composited, mirrored or retouched photos. Religious head coverings are allowed provided the whole face from chin to forehead and both sides of the face are clearly visible. Visa photos are submitted on paper to an overseas mission of the Republic of China (Taiwan) — there is no upload route.
