Note: Print borderless on photo paper and write your name on the back without letting the pen mark show through on the front. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends taking the photo without glasses; if you wear them, tinted lenses, reflections, shadows and rims covering the eyes are unacceptable. Photos altered to change your appearance — enlarged eyes, skin whitening, retouched moles or wrinkles — are unacceptable, and so is a mirrored image. If your hair is voluminous, measure a distance above your eyes equal to the eye-to-chin distance and treat that point as the crown when sizing.
